What We Do
Learning Environment Enhancements
Lessons with Love will support enhancements to facilitate increased participation in educational opportunities or to provide for the improved health and safety of the students. This may include any of the following enhancements to needed facilities on school property:
• Window/door replacement
• Mosquito netting
• Roofing and roofing repairs
• Ramps and accessibility needs
• Sanitary facility
• Building construction
Lessons with Love Learning Environment Enhancement provides funding for critical repair and construction to partnering schools. Through this program, we work with educators and communities to support adequate facilities to support the educational needs of the students.
Training-Learning
We believe that some students may need more help than a classroom provides. Lessons with Love provides funding for non-traditional educational support for special subject matter expert (SME) training for teachers and students (building sustainable skills…carpentry, sewing, barbers, etc.).
Partnerships
We believe that pairing with other nonprofits allows us to better serve our recipients. Lessons with Love will work with recipients to identify the needs of a community and actively seeks other nonprofits to fulfill these needs that may not be covered by our services.
Teaching/Learning Supplies
Lessons of Love offers partner schools assistance by providing teaching/learning supplies for maximum quality engagement and effective and efficient teaching methods.
Dormitories
Lessons with Love will provide funds for building housing for students and teachers in need.
Communications/Internet
Lessons with Love realizes the value in teachers and students accessing the internet as part of the learning experience. We will work to bring this capability to our recipient school while adhering to local government restrictions.
